Our Network Operations Center (NOC) is always available to address service-related issues or to arrange worldwide technical service. Our proactive approach to troubleshooting along with our time-tested in-house escalation procedures deliver responsive technical support 24/7/365 and can provide anything from simple diagnostics to on-site technical assistance. If required, MTN can dispatch technicians to any location in the world. The NOC staff has the tools available to monitor, in real time, the performance of each component of our architecture from the satellite link to the terrestrial network. Additionally, MTN stays in constant contact with our network of satellite teleports and points of presence to ensure that our redundant global network is “Always On – Always Available.”

Since 1981, MTN Satellite Communications has been a pioneer in VSAT technology, including bringing the first stabilized antenna system to the commercial market, so it stands to reason that MTN would have the best-trained technicians in the field. MTN’s technical staff is highly experienced in working in challenging conditions and remote locations. Technicians are deployed strategically around the globe to provide our clients with responsive technical support. Additionally, our technicians have received training and certification in the maintenance and repair of Azimuth, Orbit, and Sea Tel VSAT antennas, so you can be assured of quality technical support. MTN has also created a network of global certified technical affiliates who have been trained and certified to react quickly to our customers’ needs.

MTN’s Network Services department is led by an industry leader in maritime VSAT satellite networks and has been instrumental in the development of our best-in-class satellite network. Our staff of network technicians are Cisco® and iDirect® certified, bringing the highest level of network support, because we understand how vital your networks are to your business. Network technicians are in the NOC and available 24/7/365, and MTN utilizes state-of-the-art tools to proactively monitor network health and security. Additionally, network technicians can be dispatched as readily as our technical services staff.

Our engineering team has a proven track record in designing cost-effective, customized satellite networks and solutions for our customers. Online Support – Customer Interactive Tools

MTN has empowered its customers with comprehensive monitoring tools that provide more visibility into the real-time performance and utilization of their satellite service and system status. By logging into MTN’s secure Web portal, customers have access to our highly acclaimed ShipTracker system, an advanced, Web-based automatic vessel location system linked to Google Maps®, along with numerous other performance and utilization reports.

Bandwidth Management Tools

MTN understands that satellite bandwidth is a valuable and limited resource that must be carefully managed and optimized. With the latest feature to our Web portal, MTN Bandwidth Analyzer, customers are now able to monitor bandwidth utilization with an unprecedented level of granularity and flexibility. Bandwidth can now be broken down by service (voice, Internet, corporate data, cellular, etc.) as well as protocol and application (HTTP, FTP, email, etc.).
